Dave had his first go at holding both girls this evening. With a full stomach, Maggie was completely sacked out, but the equally well fed Bea was all bright-eyed, a reaction that likely does not bode well for her night-time feedings when we get them home.
Oh but those 2am baby smiles are the most beguiling -- a clever protective device babies have evolved to keep parents from being too exasperated at that hour.
